OK. so i've hired an attorney to represent me in a Landlord Tenant case, me being the Tenant. I know it's? str?
To your attorney it is a money issue to you it is a moral issue. Sit down and talk with your attorney, ask for a face to face meeting with possible. Ask him to lay out the pluses and negatives of going to court. You may not understand the fees you have to pay up front. You really did not need an attorney depending on the amount, just the facts, the law, and off you go before the judge to explain yourself. In a simple case where you have documentation and there are not complicated legal matters to consider it pretty much is you presenting your facts, landlord presents her side and the judge renders a decision. If your paperwork is shotty, and you have a lot of he said she said I would not want to take your money as an attorney and go to court and your hot happy.
