WTF! is with Fallout New Vegas?!?

Sooo I make it to Hidden Valley I go into the Brother Hood Of Steel's bunker as I progress to the door that says 'Door To Hidden Valley Bunker L1' I walk down the stairs and I am stopped by Paladin Ramos and we talk, etc. So when I talk to Elder McNamara and he tells me to kill the ranger and what not so I agree....couple of seconds later it fades black and shows me outside a door by an intercom, the intercom is supposed to tell me something like "Your weapons and everything are in the chest to your right" (I've played this level before and it didn't freeze, I just forgot to save it.) But instead of that I'm just frozen in place and all I can do is spin around and crouch but the intercom says nothing! So I've tried loading and trying again but the same thing just happens over, and over and I'm really starting to trip balls about it, ANY help por favor? :\
