1984 George Orwell-why doesn't it matter what the proles do or think?

The proles are the lower classes of the society and thus don't have as much of a politcal voice then the members of the Inner Party or the Outer Party. They're still the magority but they're the stupid magority who doesn't really care or have an influnce on what their goverment does.
