What is the easiest way to kill a deathclaw on fallout new vegas?

Cripple the legs. They walk really slow when at least one of the legs is crippled. You may remember the dart gun you can craft in Fallout 3. That gun cripples a deathclaw leg in one shot. This gun is not in new vegas however, so its a bit harder to cripple the legs but thats the way to go.
