Fallout: New Vegas won't work?

I bought fallout new vegas online from gamestop when I got it in the mail there was no damage but my xbox360 wouldn't read it so I got a replacement brand new and it still won't read it, I have the 1st generation of Xbox360 (the white one), my xbox is updated so how can I get it to work
